Strata is a student-led volunteer initiative offering free, plain-language financial education. Everything we make is open for educators and community organizations to use, and we would be glad to work with your group directly. This is education and planning support, not financial advice, and there is never a fee.
Everything below is already on this site, free to use with a class, a club, or a community group. Take what is useful, work through it at your own pace, and come back when you need it.
Beyond the materials you can use on your own, our volunteers can meet with a class or a community group to walk through a financial topic together. We shape each session around what your group wants to understand, drawing on the same free materials found across this site.
a simple system a group can start and actually keep using
what the lines on a pay stub mean and where the money goes
setting a goal and a first cushion, without the jargon
a plain-language look at cash flow for a club or small project
Because Strata is run by student volunteers, sessions are arranged as people and time allow. A session is education and planning support, not personalized financial advice, and we are not licensed advisors. When a question genuinely needs a licensed professional, we will say so and help point you in the right direction.
If you would like to use these materials with your group, or talk about a session, get in touch and tell us a little about your school or organization. There is no cost and no obligation.
